The Dark Horse

People, the most amazingly vulnerable beings, are being built and crushed by each other. Conquering the reachable horizons of this planet always seems to be below the belt for their egoistic souls. Thus, they end up quenching their thirst by stepping on one another. Every second human, somewhere in his life has have had the desire to outstep another through twistful means. Dark desire drive out the wildest monsters because it is addictive. The adrenaline aura seems sharp and deceptive. Humans outlash without being controlled by their conscious because it's not the conscience that drives them, but the vice versa. Not really clear about what's turning the God-sent angels into the devils of hell, the vice seems to be the ruling force replacing all other rightful forces. Even the inhuman results fail to shake the conscience of these humans. Amongst the dark horses run the white ones too. Being scarce in number, the "good people" are in a hideout saving themselves from getting trapped in the clutches of the darkness. They have succeeded in keeping the harness away from themselves. This may be the reason why the dark horses never win the race because just maybe their stables are made by false and temporary materials.

    1. I do second your opinion. When we narrow things down to 'prejudice', it is like seeing things in mirror view, opposite reflection of what's real. I appreciate your feedback ! Would love to hear your take on my other writings too. Thanks.

Kindness pays , rudeness never !

A man as great as his words , Mark Twain once remarked ," Kindness is the language which blind can see and the deaf can hear ." The mortal struggle to exist in the diverse society many a times prompts us to take up the path of rudeness and stubbornness . Not only do these qualities hamper our internal growth but do also hamper the affection which might be imparted upon us .  People tend to regard others on the basis of their behaviour and expression . Let alone the personality they carry . The impression once formed in other's minds is often hard to mold and twist towards a new angle .  It is also argumentable that a person might not always be able to carry a lighter and positive , happy air around . Unexpected turn of fateful events often ruins one's mood and brings irritability in his actions . It is often said ," No man is born bad , but circumstances make him bad ." But , except all these minority feelings , what shall always linger into our behaviour be...

Work Of Words

It's a weird place from where I'll be pinning my thoughts down into words, today. Less regarded of the environment which has consumed me, I'm more strong-centered about doing what I love. Write. They say , "the best of things hit you hard on the back of your head", meaning that what's best for you will come your way when you have contributed your best efforts and least expect the rewards. Somewhat familiar incident took place when I once read in The Tribune's article about how many a bunch had persued the idea of writing blogs . Initially the idea of words didn't impress me. And to be honest I can't even recall the moment I fell in love with writing. It's been a beautiful journey since and there was no looking back from the day I first, nervously, penned down my first blog post. Those moments are vividly impressed in my mind just like they happened yesterday. Writing not only blessed me with an improved level of vocabulary but also a better a...

Happiness

"They kept on comparing ; kept on creating the differences ; kept on telling us what we couldn't do .But I still was happy because I loved the way I was ." Happiness is a beautiful feeling . Happiness is when a child gets to have his favourite ice-cream . Happiness is when a father watches his little daughter walk her first steps . Happiness is when kids go outdoors to play with their friends . When you know who you are , and what you are capable of ; when you know your weaknesses , your flaws and imperfections and still don't complain ; when you know how to convert your weaknesses into your strengths ; when you treat both disaster and triumph in the same manner ; when you smile admist all problems , you are happy ! Your happiness is the outcome of your own beliefs , your own attitude . It should not depend on what others think or say about you . Your thoughts define your character and they should not reply on people's merci . People don't care about what you ...

What do you mean?

All our lives we keep living up-to the expectations of others. Making amendments where they are barely needed just because someone prompted us to. Complying with the human nature, the point of view that average humans need a little push (motivation) ,to do well or to excel above average, does hold some ground. But how much is this push? Many a times the push goes a little too far. Depending on the diverse human nature not all are strong headed to be able to rubbish off the useless opinions. No matter how unwanted opinions might be, few people always have some of these up their sleeves and they don't feel slightest of shame in throwing shades over at others...forever ready to point out areas of their life which remain uncoloured and empty. Although most of the times the so-said is rubbished away,  but a part of it always sticks at the back of our minds. Doing away with such thoughts, it isn't the same when we inspect the area that was being held the subject of critique. All we ...
