Work Of Words

It's a weird place from where I'll be pinning my thoughts down into words, today. Less regarded of the environment which has consumed me, I'm more strong-centered about doing what I love. Write.

They say , "the best of things hit you hard on the back of your head", meaning that what's best for you will come your way when you have contributed your best efforts and least expect the rewards. Somewhat familiar incident took place when I once read in The Tribune's article about how many a bunch had persued the idea of writing blogs . Initially the idea of words didn't impress me. And to be honest I can't even recall the moment I fell in love with writing. It's been a beautiful journey since and there was no looking back from the day I first, nervously, penned down my first blog post. Those moments are vividly impressed in my mind just like they happened yesterday.

Writing not only blessed me with an improved level of vocabulary but also a better and more complex way of moulding my thoughts into words, arranged in allies of sentences. Furthermore this instillation has opened me to value words and understand how every single sentence has underlying emotions attached to them.

Something from my collection that I'll like to share, goes like , "Every writer you know writes terribly first drafts, but they keep their butt in the chair. That's the secret of life. That's probably the main difference between you and them. They just do it. They do it by prearrangement with themselves. They do it as a debt of honor. They tell stories that come through them one day at a time, little by little. So the two main things about writing are : little by little and really god-awful first drafts. If you don't know where to start, remember that every single thing that happened to you is yours, and you get to tell it. You are going to feel like hell if you wake up someday and you never wrote the stuff that is tugging on the sleeves of your heart : your stories, memories, vision and songs, your truth, your version of things in your own voice. That's really all you have to offer us, and that's also why you were born."

Kindness pays , rudeness never !

A man as great as his words , Mark Twain once remarked ," Kindness is the language which blind can see and the deaf can hear ." The mortal struggle to exist in the diverse society many a times prompts us to take up the path of rudeness and stubbornness . Not only do these qualities hamper our internal growth but do also hamper the affection which might be imparted upon us .  People tend to regard others on the basis of their behaviour and expression . Let alone the personality they carry . The impression once formed in other's minds is often hard to mold and twist towards a new angle .  It is also argumentable that a person might not always be able to carry a lighter and positive , happy air around . Unexpected turn of fateful events often ruins one's mood and brings irritability in his actions . It is often said ," No man is born bad , but circumstances make him bad ." But , except all these minority feelings , what shall always linger into our behaviour be...

Expectations

It is human nature to always expect the end result to be more and most good . We often get blinded by our greed to valuate the things and people in their more than appropriate amount .  These huge expectations often lead us towards believing that we have been deprived of something which we are worthy of . In reality though we are always treated with the sufficient .  So from now on , stop expecting too much and rather work hard towards achieving those highly set expectations .                    Stop expecting , start acting !

Just Wait

Patience bears sweet fruits . Waiting for some particular event or time , makes it's happening worth . If we keep getting everything on time , we might not value them for their true worth , but when we are made to wait for it , we are able to recognise it's true value . The time period alloted to make the person wait for the end result must be in proportion to what the thing is worth . Only then shall the person be able to see the importance of it .  And we shall not be tired of waiting , for we deserve it only after some patience and time is dedicated towards getting it .                                         Patience Pays !

Fly High !

Amidst all the cheering , compliments and applaud for becoming the next Paulo Coelho , Ansel Adams , Richard Avedon  or da Vinci , what we forget is that we have become the next somebody . Somebody which the whole world has known . Somebody who has been appreciated and applauded for their pieces of work .  We have failed to establish ourselves as a whole and tried all along to be the next somebody . The personalities whose' hats we try to don are themselves the ones who havn't doned anybody else's hat but their own . What if Pablo Picasso aimed to become the next da Vinci ? What if Jackie Chan aspired to be the next Bruce Lee ?  Had they done that , the world would have lacked Picasso's unique artistic talent . The world would've been deprived of the geniuses .  Let Jackie Chan , the versatile actor's words , " I never wanted to be the next Bruce Lee . I just wanted to be the first Jackie Chan " , inspire us and let our individuality shine ... to let o...
