What do you mean?

All our lives we keep living up-to the expectations of others. Making amendments where they are barely needed just because someone prompted us to. Complying with the human nature, the point of view that average humans need a little push (motivation) ,to do well or to excel above average, does hold some ground. But how much is this push? Many a times the push goes a little too far. Depending on the diverse human nature not all are strong headed to be able to rubbish off the useless opinions. No matter how unwanted opinions might be, few people always have some of these up their sleeves and they don't feel slightest of shame in throwing shades over at others...forever ready to point out areas of their life which remain uncoloured and empty. Although most of the times the so-said is rubbished away,  but a part of it always sticks at the back of our minds.

Doing away with such thoughts, it isn't the same when we inspect the area that was being held the subject of critique. All we have infront of us now is a judged portion of our lives which was look down upon. It prompts us to bring a change so that the new outlook is acceptable enough for us as well as for others to see and to talk about. It isn't about a particular time when we run into such mad men (just kidding... they are only that variety of humans that aren't adored much). They only happen to cross our paths and have us guilty of something which we previously considered alright enough to not change.

But the underlying question still remains hanging and unanswered. Why does it affect us soo much as to actually make us have second thoughts?! The answer being stood quiet simple and crystal clear. The reason is us. Us?! Yes us ! People will say tons of things, some in front of your face and some at our back. It's their mouth which forms words for their sweet little soreness. We can't have absolute control over what others say or think of us. But we do surely have a hundred and one per cent control over how we react. Making us change ourself, for because others didn't like it but we surely did; will only give them more power to affect us and to have a control over our lives. Rather than letting opinions change us, we should make us change the opinions.

We should be confident about what we do and what we are. Opinions will change like options. They never stay the same and it's always better to be the way you are. For one feels oneself only in one's skin.

Kindness pays , rudeness never !

A man as great as his words , Mark Twain once remarked ," Kindness is the language which blind can see and the deaf can hear ." The mortal struggle to exist in the diverse society many a times prompts us to take up the path of rudeness and stubbornness . Not only do these qualities hamper our internal growth but do also hamper the affection which might be imparted upon us .  People tend to regard others on the basis of their behaviour and expression . Let alone the personality they carry . The impression once formed in other's minds is often hard to mold and twist towards a new angle .  It is also argumentable that a person might not always be able to carry a lighter and positive , happy air around . Unexpected turn of fateful events often ruins one's mood and brings irritability in his actions . It is often said ," No man is born bad , but circumstances make him bad ." But , except all these minority feelings , what shall always linger into our behaviour be...

Untouchables

Time has far changed for the ritual of untouchability to prevail .  But more in it's metamorphical way , some chosen class & section of people are treated nothing less than an untouchable .  Clearly distinctive it is , the people who serve us at restraunts , homes , swipe the roads etc . are very less regarded humans . Rude and impolite behaviour is what they are often treated with .  What made me think deep about these people was the thought which hit me quite a long time back ; and it was an awakening one . Sitting there sipping into my perfect cup of coffee , my mind was almost clear from the traffic of thoughts . Pondering my eyes over from one scene to another , they finally rested upon the sweeper sweeping the floor outside the cafeteria . Appreciating his hardwork and dedication towards his job , a familiar figure crossed my vision . That of the person who served me my perfect cup .  That ! That was when I realised how different both of them working out th...

The reason

Every tiny thing that we encounter is preplanned by Him . He knows what is best and appropriate . Though we might oppose ; but gradually when the reason is presented before us , everything becomes crystal clear . Patience is all that we need . Patience for things to be clear . Patience for that puzzle to get solved . We need to remember ourselves "Nothing happens without a reason " And when we do this , we will be able to analyse things in their truest sense .                                                                                                    Find the reason !

The one-eyed mother

My mother had only one eye . I hated her , age was such an embarrassment . My mom ran a small shop at a flea market . She collected little weeds and such to sell , anything for the money we needed . She was such an embarrassment . There was this one day during elementary school . I remember that it was field day , and my mom came . I was so embarrassed . How could she do this to me ? I threw her a hateful look and ran out . The next day at school . "Your mom only has one eye ?" and they taunted me .  I wished that my mom would just disappear from this world so I said to my mom , "Mom , why don't you have the other eye ? You're only going to make me a laughingstock . Why don't you just die ?" My mom did not respond . I guess I felt a little bad , but at the same time , it felt goo to think that I had said what I'd wanted to say all this time . Maybe , it was because my mom hadn't punished me , but I didn't think that I had hurt her feelings ve...
